Who Needs A God-Free Church? Rational human beings who don’t use god as an explanation for their successes or an excuse for their failures.
The Holistic Church for Humanists isn’t like other churches. Since ours is a god-free church, I’m often asked why non-believers need a church. That’s quite simple. As human beings, we all need occasional reminders of our power, support in times of vulnerability, and frequently, motivation.
We also need a community of like-minded individuals.
There is no other institution that provides all four. There is no alternative to the Holistic Church for Humanists.
Regular churches are focused on god worship. The Holistic Church for Humanists is god-free and blends the benefits of a support group for rational individuals dealing with life (not a disappointment with god-focused religion!) with ongoing power checks, motivation, and community.
The Holistic Church for Humanists provides the structure for a fulfilling life by emphasizing the power of the individual and the human community in shaping our lives. That’s the answer to the question, who needs a god-free Church.
