Joe Biden Is The President Elect, America Is Back
America is home. America is a location. More than anything else however, America is a set of values we cherish and the rest of the world aspires to. With Joe Biden and Kamala Harris soon to take the steering wheel, America is back.
What a relief! Common sense, dignity and compassion prevailed. There is hope that we might survive the pandemic. Black Lives Matter. No more anxiety over a loss of healthcare for those with preexisting conditions. No more children in cages. No more sucking up to foreign dictators. No more support for fascism. No more disrespect for the military and our heroes. No more unrestrained corruption. No more contempt for women. No more shameless narcissism and egoism. No more biased justice. No more environmental destruction. No more blatant hypocrisy. No more shame on the world’s stage.
It’s time to exhale. It’s time for healing. It’s time to return to civility and decency. It’s time to reverse the damage of the past four years. It’s time to restore our Country. Click To Tweet
We rarely care for political speeches. But the speeches on November 7th 2020 stand out. President Elect Joe Biden sounded like a beloved preacher comforting his congregation. Vice President Elect Kamala Harris was radiant, impressive and humble. Both of their speeches were soothing, inspiring and felt like a homecoming after a long bout with homesickness.
